The WG1605 is the mid range 4 cylinder engine in Kubota's WG Series spark ignited lineup, sitting between the smaller WG972 3 cylinder and the larger WG2503 4 cylinder. The WG1605 SI engines are designed after Kubota's 05 Series diesel engines and offer performance similar to the turbocharged variants of those diesels, but in a spark ignited package that runs on gasoline, LPG, natural gas, or any combination of the three depending on the suffix designation. The G suffix indicates gasoline only, the GL suffix indicates dual fuel gasoline and LPG, the GLN suffix indicates triple fuel gasoline / LPG / natural gas, and the LN suffix indicates LPG and natural gas dual fuel.
