Seals split into two worlds that rarely overlap. Cab and door seals keep weather, dust, and noise out of the operator station, and they match by profile and length. Hydraulic and shaft seals keep fluid in and contamination out, and they match by shaft diameter, bore, and cross-section. Types of Replacement Seals

Door and cab seals are extruded profiles, usually bulb or D-shaped, that compress against the frame. Shaft seals ride on a rotating shaft with a lip and often a garter spring. Quad rings replace O-rings where a four-lobed profile resists rolling in dynamic positions. Seal kits bundle every seal for one assembly, which is the right way to rebuild a hydrostatic drive motor because opening it for a single seal costs the same labour as doing all of them.
