The LX865 is the original 1990s Super Boom large-frame (predecessor to L865 in the late-90s rebrand). The LX865 sits in the 1,800 pound rated operating capacity class and uses the Super Boom vertical lift geometry that has been New Holland's defining design across decades of skid steer production. The LX865 shares the chassis, drivetrain, hydraulics, and Super Boom lift geometry with the surrounding LS / L / LX Super Boom siblings. Aftermarket cross-references show common cab and door hardware spanning the Super Boom cluster.
Key Set 642628 is shared across the Super Boom siblings. Quick-attach hardware service uses Lever Pin Kit 86538563, Bucket Pin Kit 87299129, and Wedge Pin Kit 87758365. Many LX865 service parts cross to sibling models in the same family era.
