Case Glass Fitment and Compatibility

Cab glass for Case equipment is highly model-specific and changes between Alpha Series, B Series, and the older CX/LX excavator generations. Most door glass and lower window panels are shared across the Alpha Series skid steer and compact track loader cluster, while excavator glass (CX series, LX series) is a separate fitment family with no cross to the skid steer line. Quarter panel glass changed mid-Alpha Series with the 2013 Tier 4 cab refresh, so machines built before and after the refresh use different rear glass part numbers.

The Front Door Glass 84344565 and the original-style Skid Steer Door Glass 47405930 are the highest-volume Case glass service items in our catalog, fitting Alpha Series SR / SV skid steers and TR / TV compact track loaders. The Right Rear Quarter Panel Glass 338425A1 and Left Upper Door Glass 338429A1 cover the rear cab service position. For the CX series of compact excavators, Front Lower Glass KHN2634 covers the windshield position.

Types of Replacement Glass for Case Equipment

Cab glass for Case equipment falls into four main fitment families. Front door glass and lower window glass fit the operator door assembly and are the most commonly ordered glass service items because the door takes the most abuse during attachment changeouts and material handling. Rear quarter panel glass fits the cab side panels behind the operator and is replaced less often, mostly from punctures or impact damage. Windshield glass (front upper) is specific to fully-enclosed cab variants and uses thicker laminated construction for operator safety. Roof skylight glass on the larger CX excavator cabs uses acrylic rather than tempered glass for impact resistance.
