Bobcat cab glass is model-specific and position-specific. The same skid steer may use different glass depending on whether it has an M-Series or R-Series cab, and whether it was built before or after a mid-production serial number change. Always match by OEM part number rather than model number alone. Common part numbers include 7120401 for the main door glass on M-Series and R-Series loaders, 6729776 for the curved cab door on older A-Series and S-Series frames, and 7435779 for the front door glass on newer R-Series skid steers and track loaders. Excavator cab glass like 7179045 fits the E25 through E55 range but does not cross over to loader cabs.

Door assemblies are also available as complete units. The R-Series door assembly (160380SUB) and M-Series door assembly (7523437) include the frame, glass, hinges, and hardware. These are built to order with a 2 to 4 week lead time and ship freight. Individual glass panels ship standard ground.

Types of Replacement Cab Glass for Bobcat Equipment

Door glass is the most frequently replaced piece because it takes the most abuse from debris, branches, and loading impacts. Windshields and front glass panels vary between fixed and sliding types depending on the cab generation. Side windows include both fixed panels and sliding glass, with parts like 7261610 and 7266740 serving as forward sliding and side sliding options on loaders. Rear glass panels like 7261609 and 7266739 are fixed units that bolt into the cab frame.

Materials vary by position. Door glass and windshields are typically tempered safety glass that shatters into small pieces on impact. Some rear and side panels use laminated glass for additional structural integrity.
