Equipment Pin Fitment and Compatibility

Pins are dimension-critical parts, so the OEM part number is the most reliable way to match one. Common replacements fit Bobcat loaders, including the pivot pin that replaces OEM 7143016, the flex pin that replaces OEM 6737326 for bucket teeth, and the pin kit that replaces OEM 6680122 for Bob-Tach mounting systems. Pins for John Deere, New Holland, and Case machines cover common bucket, loader arm, and attachment positions.

When a part number is not available, match a pin by diameter, overall length, and retention style, whether it uses a snap ring groove, cross-drilled hole, or welded stop. A pin that is slightly undersized will wear its bore quickly, so replacing the matching bushings at the same time is standard practice and protects the new pin.

Types of Replacement Equipment Pins

Pivot pins carry the loads at loader arm, bucket, and cylinder connections and are hardened to resist wear against their bushings. Flex pins secure bucket teeth to shanks with a rubber cushion that absorbs impact. Pin kits bundle the pins, and often the wedges or hardware, for a complete joint or mounting system rebuild, which is the common approach on Bob-Tach and quick-attach systems.

Loose attachment fit, clunking during direction changes, and visible ovaling around a bore are the usual signs a pin and its bushings are due. Replacing pins and bushings together restores the tight fit the joint was designed for.
