New Holland's Super Boom vertical-lift design has been the defining chassis platform across decades of skid steer production. The LX series (LX465 through LX985, 1994-1999) established the original Super Boom geometry. The late-1990s L rebrand (L465, L565, L865) carried the same chassis forward, followed by the LS Super Boom era (LS140, LS150, LS160, LS170, LS180, LS185, LS190) that ran through 2007 with mid-cycle .B facelift variants in 2005-2007. The L-prefix Tier 3 rebrand (L150, L160, L170, L175, L180, L185, L190) carried the same Super Boom chassis from 2007-2012. Across this 20-year run, cab glass, door hardware, lower window panels, key sets, and quick-attach pin kits cross broadly. The 200 Series (L213-L230, 2014+) is a Tier 4 radial-lift reset with a redesigned cab, refreshed dash, and updated electro-hydraulic controls. The 300 Series (L313-L320, 2014+) is the vertical-lift counterpart to the 200 Series on the same Tier 4 chassis platform.
