Kubota Engine Fitment and Compatibility

Kubota groups its industrial engines into displacement series that share many components within a series. The 05 Series is the largest family and includes the three cylinder D902, D1105, D1305 and D1503 alongside the four cylinder V1505, V2003, V2203 and V2403. The 03 Series (D722, D905, D1005) sits below it and is common in compact mowers, generators and small loaders, while the 07 Series (D1703, D1803) and 09 Series (V3300, V3307, V3600) cover the larger engines used in mid size tractors, telehandlers and wheel loaders. The WG Series (WG972, WG1605, WG2503) are spark-ignited gasoline and LPG engines.

Kubota engines also power equipment from other manufacturers, including Bobcat loaders, New Holland machines, Clark forklifts and Hitachi and Takeuchi excavators, so a Kubota engine part can fit a machine with a different badge. The engine serial plate carries the full engine model, and the suffix after the base model (for example D1105-E4B or V2403-CR-TE5) identifies the emissions tier, which can change the fuel system and aftertreatment parts while the oil and air filters often stay the same. Check the full engine model against each product page, or contact our team with your engine model and serial number.

Types of Replacement Parts for Kubota Engines

Filters make up most of this range: air filters for the intake, spin-on engine oil filters, and fuel filters including combined fuel filters with water separators. Engines in the same series often share the same air filter, oil filter and primary fuel filter, which is why one filter can list many engine models. Common replacements include the fuel filter with water separator that replaces Bobcat 6667352, the engine oil filter that replaces Kubota HH150-32094 and the primary air filter that replaces Kubota 1665911221.

Beyond filters, the range covers gaskets, alternators, starters, belts and cooling system parts for Kubota engines. When an alternator or starter is replaced, confirm the mounting and the electrical connection against the engine model, since different equipment makers fitted different versions to the same base engine.
