Cab and Frame Part Fitment and Compatibility

Cab hardware is the most generation-sensitive group on any machine, because cab shape, door mounting, and operator station layout were redesigned while the drivetrain underneath often carried over unchanged. Two machines that share filters and hoses can take completely different door frames. Common replacements include the door frames replacing OEM 7421220 and 7120402, the floor pan cover replacing OEM 7164345, the armrest housing replacing OEM 6807982, the door strap replacing OEM 6681943, the lift arm stop replacing OEM 6705089, the tailgate cable replacing OEM 6681649, the rubber bumper replacing OEM 6578278, the clamping knob replacing OEM 6684932, and the lift arm bypass replacing OEM 7230495.

Door frames and glass are ordered separately. The frame is the surround and its hardware; the glass panel that sits in it carries its own part number and its own handling requirements, so a broken door usually means two orders rather than one.

Types of Replacement Cab and Frame Parts

Door hardware covers frames, straps, stops, and guides. Straps and stops absorb the shock every time a door is opened past its travel, and once one breaks, the next thing to take that shock is the door itself. Replacing a broken stop is the cheapest way to protect the panel behind it.

Operator station parts cover floor pan covers, armrest housings, and clamping knobs, which are replaced for wear, cracking, and missing hardware more often than for failure. Frame and body parts cover lift arm stops, rubber bumpers, and guides. These quietly change how the machine sits and where it contacts itself, and a missing bumper means metal meeting metal at a spot that was never meant to take it.

When ordering, work from the machine series and serial number rather than from a photograph of the part. Cab parts frequently look identical across generations while differing in mounting hole pattern by a small amount.
