Bobcat Bushing Fitment & Compatibility

Bobcat bushings vary by frame size, pivot location, and installation type. The Bob-Tach lower pivot wear bushing (replacing OEM 6730997) is the single most commonly replaced bushing across the Bobcat lineup — it fits small and mid-frame skid steers from the 553 through the S590 and compact track loaders from the T110 through the T595. The press fit tilt cylinder bushing (replacing OEM 6805453) covers a similarly wide range of mid-frame and large-frame models.

Large-frame M-series and R-series machines (S630, S650, S750, S770, T630, T650, T750, T770, T870, and A770) use different pivot bushings than the smaller models. Weld-on bushings are repair components used when the original bushing housing has worn through — these require welding equipment and are not press-fit replacements. Excavator arm and bucket bushings (replacing OEM 7167301, 7172745, and 7102891) are grouped by excavator generation. Always confirm your OEM part number before ordering. If you need help, contact our team with your model and serial number.

Types of Replacement Bushings for Bobcat Equipment

Bobcat loaders and excavators use several bushing types depending on the pivot location and wear conditions. Press fit bushings are the standard replacement type — they are pressed into an existing housing bore and can be replaced without welding. The Bob-Tach lower pivot bushing and tilt cylinder bushing are the two highest-wear press fit bushings on any Bobcat loader, typically requiring replacement well before any other pivot point.

Weld-on bushings (replacing OEM 6702958 and similar) are used when the original bushing bore has worn beyond the press fit tolerance. These are welded directly into the frame or lift arm and machined to accept the pivot pin. Wear bushings for excavator arms (replacing OEM 7167301 for smaller E-series and 7172745 for larger E-series) sit at the boom, arm, and bucket pivot joints where digging forces are highest. Isolator bushings and rubber bushings are used in pedal assemblies and control systems to dampen vibration and provide smooth operator input.
