Bobcat bearings vary by application and frame size. Wheel hub bearing assemblies (replacing OEM 6688676) are shared across Toolcats and several loader models, while axle bearings for skid steers split into two families — small/mid-frame models (753, 773, S130 through S205) and large-frame models (863, S220 through S770). The idler bearing (replacing OEM 6691330) fits across a wide range of skid steers and compact track loaders where it maintains belt tension in the drive system.

Bearing cups and cones are sold separately and must be matched as a set. Always confirm your OEM part number before ordering, as bearing dimensions and load ratings vary even between models that appear similar. Types of Replacement Bearings for Bobcat Equipment

Bobcat equipment uses several bearing types depending on the location and load requirements. Tapered roller bearings are used in axle and wheel hub applications where they handle combined radial and axial loads. These are mounted in pairs — a cone (inner race with rollers) and a cup (outer race) — and are replaced together along with the corresponding oil seal.

Idler bearings are sealed units used in the belt drive system to maintain tension between the engine crankshaft and hydraulic pump. Ball bearings and flanged bearings appear in various auxiliary applications including auger attachments and pivot assemblies. Ball joints (replacing OEM 6690260 and 6690261) are used in steering linkage and control systems, particularly on all-wheel steer and Toolcat models. Thrust bearings handle axial loads in swing mechanisms and auger drives.
