Tubeline Fitment and Compatibility

A tubeline is a rigid hydraulic line, formed to follow one exact path along a boom, arm, or frame. That single fact governs everything about ordering one. A hose can be made up locally to a length and fitting spec; a tubeline cannot, because its bends are the part. There is no equivalent tubeline of the same length, and one intended for a different machine or a different position will not sit in the clamps or reach both ports. Common replacements include the boom cylinder tubeline replacing OEM 7160290, the lift cylinder hydraulic tubeline replacing OEM 7356930, the hydraulic tubelines for excavators replacing OEM 7156070, 7497550, 7497551, and 7207341, the tubeline for excavators replacing OEM 7115502, the hydraulic tubelines for loaders replacing OEM 7249264, 7298063, and 7298064, the tubeline for loaders replacing OEM 7136037, the tubelines replacing OEM 6529384, and the tubeline bracket replacing OEM 7371236.

Order by OEM number and by position on the machine. Boom, arm, and lift circuits each run their own lines, and several will share a diameter while differing entirely in shape.

Types of Replacement Tubelines

Cylinder tubelines feed boom, arm, and lift cylinders and carry full working pressure. They run along the outside of the structure where they are exposed to impact, which is what puts them on a parts list far more often than pressure alone would.

Auxiliary and transfer lines route flow to attachment circuits and between components. Tubeline brackets hold each line on its intended path, and they are part of the assembly rather than an accessory: a line left unsupported after a bracket breaks moves under pressure pulses and works its ends loose.

A dented tubeline is a damaged tubeline. The dent is a restriction, and the symptom is a function that runs slower than the others for no apparent reason. Straightening a dent does not restore the bore, and a tube that has been bent back and forth at a crease is weakened where it will eventually split under pressure. Replace rather than repair.
