Parts Compatibility for Kubota RTV Utility Vehicles

Kubota's RTV lineup is the diesel powered side of the utility vehicle market. The original RTV900 launched the platform and became one of the most widely sold diesel UTVs ever built, particularly across agricultural and ranch operations where the lower fuel consumption and longer engine life of diesel beat gasoline competition. The RTV1100 followed as the industry's first factory air conditioned cab UTV, expanding Kubota's UTV market into hunting, security patrol, and grounds maintenance applications where operators needed climate control. The current RTV-X Series (RTV-X900, RTV-X1100, RTV-X1120 in general purpose and worksite trims) runs the Kubota D1105-E4-UV three cylinder four cycle diesel and is built around the same chassis platform with engine and bed configuration as the primary differences between models. The RTV520 is Kubota's mid size diesel UTV positioned below the full size X Series.

Because all RTV machines from the RTV900 forward use Kubota three cylinder diesels from the same engine families that power compact tractors and zero turn mowers, engine service parts cross widely between the RTV lineup, the BX sub compact tractors, the F Series mowers, and the ZD zero turns. Cab parts, suspension components, and bed assemblies are model specific. The RTV-X1100 cab uses a different cab air filter than the RTV900 because the AC cab itself is a different generation, so confirm cab parts against your specific model and year.

Common Replacement Parts for Kubota RTV Utility Vehicles

Engine oil filters HH150-32430, HH1J0-32430, and 16271-32092 cover the D1105 family of diesels used across the RTV lineup. The in line fuel filter 1258143011 (and the 12581-43012 variant) covers gravity fed fuel systems on the older RTV900 and earlier RTV-X units. The Tier 4 water separator 6A320-59930 is the current production fuel system service part on RTV-X1100 and later cab models.

Air filtration on the RTV uses outer canister R141142279 and inner safety element R141142289, which are RTV specific part numbers (not shared with other Kubota equipment categories). Cabin air filtration on the cab equipped RTV-X1100 and RTV-X1120 uses cab filter T1855-71600, also used on M Series utility tractor cabs. The Kubota K7591-82360 air filter covers a smaller air intake on certain RTV variants. Cooling system, ignition, and electrical service parts make up the remainder of the common service items, and ignition switch / key parts are routine for fleet RTVs where keys are lost or worn from daily use.
